Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse range of people to work with residents to come up with solutions and improve services? The Engagement Officer role is all about supporting strong community engagement and involving residents in shaping our Housing service.
The position being advertised is for a one year secondment or fixed term as maternity cover for the full-time postholder. This is an exciting role for a person who wants to actively work with residents, staff and partner organisations to make a positive difference to people's lives. Hammersmith and Fulham council is looking to recruit a self motivated person who places residents at the heart of services.
The role is for someone who can think on their feet, come up with innovative ideas and inspire others. You will need to be able to prioritise and organise a varied workload, making sure key deliverables for the service are met. You will also need a high degree of motivation and be continuously seeking better outcomes for our residents.
You will need to have a fair, caring, collaborate and driven approach to everything you do. You will also demonstrate how you would deliver the Hammersmith & Fulham priority of "Doing things with residents, not to them" and work with residents to co produce projects.
