The client is a high-profile statutory regulator based in Central London. They operate at the intersection of public law and professional standards, ensuring that the practitioners they regulate maintain the highest levels of integrity, diversity, and competence.
Job Description- Develop and implement enforcement policies and procedures in line with organisational objectives.
- Design and lead robust assurance frameworks, including regular file reviews and thematic audits, to ensure all outsourced investigations are legally sound, proportionate, and fair.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and understanding of enforcement policies.
- Track and analyse provider performance data including; case timeliness, throughput, and ageing, to identify delivery risks and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Work with internal teams to forecast case volumes and manage the allocation of work to prevent bottlenecks and external providers have the resources to meet demand.
- Ensure alignment of enforcement activities with relevant regulations and legislation.
- Proven experience managing outsourced or commissioned services within a regulated, legal, or public sector environment.
- A strong understanding of the principles of investigations, enforcement, or professional disciplinary casework.
- Demonstrable success in managing complex service contracts, specifically using data to drive provider performance and accountability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and maintain professional authority with external partners.
- The ability to interpret complex performance data and legal information to make high-stakes, risk-based decisions.
- Highly developed written skills, capable of drafting clear, authoritative reports and assurance papers for executive-level committees.
- A high degree of professional discretion and a firm commitment to the principles of fairness, due process, and public protection.
- Competitive salary ranging from £65,000 to £70,000 per annum.
