Job Description

A full-time, permanent position has been created to enhance the growth and development of Flexitricity's services through evaluating and connecting small electricity generators, energy-intensive industrial processes, and energy storage devices with the Flexitricity platform.

Working with major corporate energy managers, operational staff, and contractors, you will be involved in all aspects of site projects-from early-stage sales activities and supervising site works to ongoing client support.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring a new approach to energy balancing into widespread commercial application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project managing the technical onboarding of new sites to Flexitricity's optimisation system.
  • Requirements capture, design, testing, and commissioning of Flexitricity outstation equipment.
  • Carrying out qualification injection testing.
  • Developing technical solutions for new services.
  • Investigating and analyzing faults, and performing repairs on live sites.
Skills/Qualifications

A degree in electrical, mechanical, renewable energy engineering, or a related field.

Key Skills & Attributes
  • Knowledge of the UK electricity industry.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and project management skills, with effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Excellent presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Good IT skills, preferably including engineering design applications.
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a strong interest in demand-side management and smart grid development.
  • Full UK/EU driving license, as travel within the UK is required.
