The Role

As Data & AI Practice Lead the role entails development, growth, and delivery of the organization's Data and AI portfolio. This role is responsible for defining strategic vision, shaping innovative solutions, and driving market differentiation through advanced data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning capabilities. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to build a high-performing team and deliver measurable impact for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy & Vision
  • Define and execute the Data & AI offering strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify emerging trends and technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
• Solution Development
  • Design and oversee development of scalable AI and data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure offerings address client needs across industries and use cases.
• Growth
  • Drive go-to-market initiatives, partnerships, and thought leadership.
  • Support sales teams with solution positioning and client engagement.
  • Effectively engage with the C-suite to develop our brand and propositions.
• Delivery Excellence
  • Establish best practices for project delivery, governance, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee complex implementations ensuring client satisfaction and ROI.
• Team Leadership
  • Build and mentor a team of data scientists, AI engineers, and consultants.
  • Manage teams from across Infosys to ensure the best solutions are developed and value outcomes are delivered for the client
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

We are looking for a Senior Principal with Energy Industry knowledge and experience in:

• Proven experience in leading Data & AI practices or offerings in a consulting or technology environment.
• Extensive experience with IT Strategy, best practices and technologies
• Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, data engineering, and cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated success in developing and scaling data-driven solutions/enterprise scale technology transformation
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and ethical AI frameworks. Ability to develop IP and Market Offerings.
• Experience either developing new or deepening existing business relationships with key client stakeholders.
