Endoscopy Nurse

Staff Nurse - Endoscopy (Full Time, Permanent)

Position at Bon Secours Hospital Cork, part of the Bon Secours Health System.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility on each shift for the nursing care of allocated patients.
• Work within the nursing team and assist colleagues as necessary to provide and maintain the highest standards of patient care.
• Collaborate as part of the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Registered in the General Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an acute hospital.
• Endoscopy experience or a keen interest in endoscopy.

Person Specification

• Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
• Strong communication skills and clinical skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Computer literate and use of Endoraad or an endoscopy reporting system desirable.
• Flexibility and excellent initiative.
