Employment Law Director

We are working with an indigenous commercial law firm based in Belfast, who are looking to grow out their service areas by creating an employment law department within their successful commercial practice. The firm have attracted some top talent into their teams and their corporate practice have excelled in recent years to within the Top 10 in overall deal rankings.

They have a very loyal client base consisting of commercial developers, banks, retailers and top 100 companies who they provide advice to across a range of practice areas.

Owing to increased client demand, they are searching for an experienced employment law director to come in and head up the creation of their new department. You will have an exceptional reputation most likely and the ability to bring a client following with you to get started in your new venture.

You will be heavily backed by the senior management team in your endeavours and will receive all the corporate support you need to grow out this new function successfully.

Key to your success will be the calibre or volume of client you can bring early on but also your ability to network and business develop at the highest levels. With a firm plan to recruit a new team under you, within the first 2-3 years, this is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career as a Director or to move to a more balanced commercial firm, whilst still retaining a high level of work.
