Employer Relations Associate

The Employer Relations Associate is a key member of the Career Development and Employer Relations team on campus, responsible for sourcing full-time and internship roles and creating engagement opportunities for students with alumni and corporate contacts by developing relationships with local and regional employers.
This role requires an understanding of the local and regional job market. At Hult, we emphasize that the "city is their campus." This role aims to integrate city life with campus activities, helping students and graduates advance their careers. You will collaborate with team members to develop and implement career events and activities both on and off campus. This position reports directly to the Campus Head of Career Development and Employer Relations.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute employer programs on campus to support student job and internship success.
- Source employment opportunities from employer and alumni partners and promote these to students. Participate in local external events to generate leads for new employer partnerships.
- Engage with local alumni to create opportunities for student interaction through on-campus and off-campus activities. Curate relevant off-campus networking events, escort students to key events, and teach networking skills.
- Manage the Handshake platform, ensuring efficient job posting processes and analyzing data to improve job matching, student engagement, and employer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain a strong employer pipeline using CRM tools to record and manage interactions, supporting relationship-building and strategic decisions.
- Partner with student clubs and professional organizations for co-branded events.
- Oversee employer events on and off campus, including company visits, leading event execution with campus staff support.
- Assist in securing alumni and corporate contacts for industry panels, under the guidance of the Head of Career Development and Employer Relations.
- Market events and job opportunities via social media, newsletters, and campus channels.
- Participate in the Campus Task Force for Corporate Business Challenges to connect with potential corporate partners.
- Manage student workers or interns supporting employer and alumni events and initiatives, where applicable.
- Collaborate with Employer Relations teams across campuses to share best practices and source regional opportunities for students.
- Minimum two years of experience in relationship management, business development, or college/university employer relations.
- Experience with college recruiting from an employer's perspective is preferred.
- Strong interest in regional employment opportunities and awareness of global hiring trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively across cultures.
- Experience with Handshake or similar job platforms, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), event management tools, and social media content creation.
- Skills in marketing, negotiation, and strategic planning.
- Results-oriented with flexibility to work evenings and weekends for events.
- Enthusiasm for Hult's mission to educate and empower a diverse student body in international business.
- International experience and multicultural exposure are advantageous.
- This role requires on-campus presence 4 days a week, with a potential work-from-home allowance; during critical periods, 5 days on campus may be required.
