Job Description
Job Overview 
Social Policy & Industrial Relations (SPIR) Business Partner at Airbus Belfast Ltd. Full time, permanent. Subject to BPSS and Export Control checks.
Responsibilities- Support HR Business Leader in achieving company HR objectives.
- Collaborate with the Head of SPIR UK to develop and deliver SPIR strategy.
- Develop and implement social policy on the Belfast site.
- Consult and negotiate with recognised Trade Unions on a broad range of topics.
- Provide advice and guidance to internal HR customers and managers on application of HR policies.
- Assist HR Business Partners with case management.
- Contribute to the development of HR policy in line with business needs and legislative changes, particularly in Northern Ireland.
- Communicate policy changes to all user groups and support change management with appropriate training.
- Work closely with Reward Operations and other Centres of Expertise to ensure internal processes support effective administration of UK HR policies.
- Attend specialist Employment Law forums to stay proactive on legislative changes.
- Collaborate with external legal advisers on case management and SPIR projects.
- Develop continuous professional development opportunities and coordinate upskilling for HR and managers.
- Relevant employment law knowledge, especially in Northern Ireland.
- Proven generalist experience dealing with HR policy and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- High-level presentation and influencing skills.
- Experience handling complex employee relations issues.
- Ability to work autonomously and experience with Trade Unions.
- Agility to manage operational activities and lead or contribute to projects.
- Teamwork, networking, and building strong relationships with a range of customers.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills and a proactive approach to finding business solutions.
- CIPD qualification (desirable).
