Garda s primary offices are in New York City, West Palm Beach, Geneva, Zug, Copenhagen, Singapore, and is looking to hire an Emerging Markets Analyst to join the Macro Trading Desk in Geneva. The will be supporting the main risk taker in Emerging Markets as well as the broader macro team X and analyzing investment ideas across Emerging Markets.Position ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain models to track and forecast GDP, interest and fiscal balances across key emerging countries.Actively monitor portfolio positions and stay ahead of macroeconomic trends, political events, and other market and original analysis into clear investment ideas and market closely with risk takers to assist with idea portfolio construction, and day-to-day risk & Desired Skills3-5 years experience of EM X public institution or top-tier buy-side firmMaster s Degree in economics, finance or a similar disciplineProven ability to apply macroeconomic forecasting and techniques, including experience with forecasting methodologies like ARIMA, VAR, and VECM X financial markets and the mechanisms X policy-makingExperience tracking and analyzing sovereign debt issuance and external government balance sheetsStrong understanding of ( , familiarity with options Greeks, common hedging written and oral skillsCritical thinking, strong to detail and independent problem-solving skillsAdvanced programming skills and proficiency in BloombergAbility to work unconventional hours in a high-energy, time X environment jidd0a3fd6aen jit0417aen jpiy26aen
