As an EMEA Manager, Projects Procurement, you will manage a team of 5 to 10 full-time employees. You will be responsible for nuclear projects, interacting with cross-functional teams to build and execute project strategies, procurement plans, and contracting strategies from concept to close. You will serve as a direct interface to our internal customers: Business Unit, Engineering, Quality, HSE, and Project Managers. Strong commercial relationship skills with suppliers are essential to provide clear, timely, and innovative solutions. Ability to travel within Europe (10-20%) is required.

You will report to the Director of Supply Chain Capital and be located at Springfields.

Key Focus Areas:

  1. Cost Leadership: Deploy sourcing strategies considering Total Cost of Ownership, including prices, on-time delivery, quality, and safety.
  2. Operational Excellence: Use standard processes and tools to identify and minimize risks in procurement execution. Develop and implement organizational processes and standards.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interact with various departments and stakeholders to develop comprehensive end-to-end execution plans to serve customers on time.
  4. Innovation: Learn from different departments and apply new technologies to create value for the end customer.
  5. Digitalization: Ensure all information is accurately maintained in relevant tools (S2P, Wave, EPMO, etc.).

Qualifications include experience managing a procurement team (5-10 people), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, business acumen, technical purchasing knowledge, contract management expertise, and familiarity with project management tools like Primavera 6. Leadership skills, effective communication, autonomy, prioritization, and team collaboration are essential.
