Embedded Software Engineers 3 years + C, C++ Development

Overview

Embedded Software Engineers - Minimum of 3 years commercial experience required.

Our client is a large, very successful multinational company based in Cork. They are looking for a number of experienced engineers with experience of SoC systems, Embedded C Development, RTOS / FreeRTOS, ARM, DSP and ASIC (these skills are essential).

Skills and experience

• BS Degree required, MS or PhD degree in related field highly desired
• SOC Architecture embedded software on a large scale SoC systems
• Embedded C/C++ development
• ARM, DSP, ASIC
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding critical thinking skills, ability to ask probing questions and desire for continuous learning
• Experience and knowledge of SOC Architecture would be an advantage.

Description

A successful candidate will work with various stakeholders developing application / embedded systems in C/C++, developing drivers, low-level modules. Experience of Telematics, Sensors would be an advantage. Other duties may include integration of sensor data into embedded systems and RTOS signal processing, requirements gathering, software architecture, documentation, test automation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3 + years Systems Engineering or related work experience using the above. These skills are essential.

Benefits

Salary is up to around €55K- €80k plus benefits. (depending on experience and role)

The roles are based in Cork. Candidates should be located in Ireland and the client can only consider an EU or UK Citizen or candidates with Stamp 4 Visa.
