This is an exciting opportunity to join the School of Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) Technical Team as the Electronics and Electrical Teaching Laboraroty Supervisor. This is a full time permanent post.
As the Electronics and Electrical (EEE) Teaching Laboraroty Supervisor you will be responsible to plan, sustain, and organise the Technical delivery of core undergraduate and taught undergraduate specialist EEE Laboratory sessions associated with all ECS taught degrees, and, to support the School's strategic growth of teaching facilities. In this role you will manage the day-to-day running of ECS's state of the art EEE laboratory, resources, PC refresh cycle and provide specialist Technical support and advice to the School's practical educational activities.
You must hold a relevant degree qualification in either Electronic, Electrical or Computer Science or nearest equivalent, with proven experience of Electronic and Electrical practical as well as proven object and procedural programming languages You must have substantial experience in a relevant technical field, with proven experience of successfully planning work activities.
Successful delivery in this role will significantly contribute to protecting the capital investment in ECS teaching facilities and to deliver the maximum educational value from them.
