Your new role
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical repairs, maintenance, and installation works across domestic properties.
Your duties will include:
- Fault finding on single and three-phase systems
- Electrical testing, inspection, and certification
- Carrying out electrical installation condition reports
- Completing minor works and installation certificates
- Installing and replacing electrical systems such as showers, immersion heaters, and heating controls
- Undertaking general electrical installation work and upgrades
- Managing van stock and ensuring materials are used efficiently
- Accurately recording work completed using handheld technology
- Identifying and reporting any urgent repairs or health and safety concerns
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds 2330 and 2382 essential; 2391 desirable or equivalent)
- Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance within domestic environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of current wiring regulations and industry standards
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Experience using mobile devices or PDAs for job management
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
