Job Description
An excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join a well-established and growing organisation delivering essential public infrastructure across Ireland. This role offers varied, hands-on work across public lighting projects, fault response, and maintenance, with exposure to modern technologies including smart lighting, EV infrastructure, and renewable energy systems.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver public lighting projects to agreed specifications, standards, and safety plans
- Report project changes and updates to project management
- Ensure all work meets client requirements
- Implement and maintain safe systems of work (RAMS, JSSPs)
- Conduct inspection, testing, certification, and reporting
- Diagnose and repair public lighting faults
- Survey and record infrastructure condition
- Participate in on-call rota as required
- Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate
- Safe Pass
- Full clean driver's licence
- Proven experience as an electrician (public lighting preferred)
- Experience working near live traffic
- Experience working at height (e.g. van hoist)
- Electrical testing and verification experience
- Safe Electric Qualified Certifier
- CSCS Signing, Lighting & Guarding
- Public lighting project experience
- CSCS LUGS / Scaffold cards
- Abrasive Wheel certification
- HIAB operation
- First Aid training
- C Licence
