Electrician

Due to a sustained increase in workload, we are seeking an experienced Approved Electrician to join our well-established General Works team based in Cambridge.

Our projects span Cambridgeshire and neighbouring counties, supporting a strong base of repeat business.

Reporting directly to the General Works & Maintenance Manager, you will:

• Carry out installation, servicing, and repair of a wide range of electrical systems
• Modify, fault-find and install electrical systems within commercial and industrial environments
• Test and inspect electrical installations, including completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
• Liaise directly with clients, representing the business in a professional and proactive manner
• Work independently using your own initiative while maintaining high standards of workmanship

We are looking for a qualified electrician with:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience post-apprenticeship
• Strong commercial and industrial experience
• Sound knowledge of current Health & Safety requirements
• Good understanding of BS7671 and relevant Building Regulations
• The ability to work unsupervised and manage workload effectively
• JIB Rates

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition (BS7671)
• CSCS/ECS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence

• C&G 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent
• IPAF
• PASMA
• SSSTS
• First Aid at Work
