Electrician - Nottinghamshire

Location: Nottinghamshire
Rate: £25-£26 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Contract Type: Temporary
We're looking for a qualified and reliable Electrician to join our public sector client in their maintenance team, delivering high-quality electrical services across a portfolio of social housing properties. This role involves both planned and reactive maintenance, helping ensure safe, comfortable living environments for their residents.
️ Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, installations, and upgrades in social housing units
• Respond to urgent maintenance requests with professionalism and efficiency
• Conduct periodic inspections and testing in line with regulations
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times

Qualifications & Experience

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
• Experience working in domestic settings, ideally within social housing or public sector environments
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
