Job Description
Job Title:

Electrician

Role Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team on ongoing infrastructure works across Zone 1, 2 & 3 TFL Underground stations.

Working as part of a team of 4-5 operatives under the supervision of the Site Person in Charge (SPC), you will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical installations in a challenging and safety-critical environment. A minimum of 2 years' experience as an electrician is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute electrical installation tasks as directed by the SPC

  • Install Cable Management Systems (CMS) including:

    • Trunking

    • Tray

    • Conduit

  • Carry out installation, termination, and testing of:

    • CAT6A and fibre optic cabling

    • Field antennas and associated equipment

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and TFL standards

Shifts & Hours:
  • Nights: 23:45 - 04:45

  • Days: Sunday to Thursday

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Weekend Work: Available at enhanced rates

  • Duration: Ongoing (project runs through to end of 2026; continuity based on performance)

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements:
  • JIB Card (Electrician)

  • Sentinel ICI (Industry Common Induction)

  • DBS Check

  • Asbestos Awareness Certification

  • Face Fit Test (certificate required or must be undertaken)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers Association)

Location:

Work will be carried out at TFL Underground stations in Zones 1-3. Prior experience working in rail or London Underground environments is highly beneficial.
