Electrician

Electricians required for a national contract working on adaptations of commercial projects.

Your new role

Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, control systems, and lighting

Blueprints and Diagrams: Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation

Inspection and Testing: Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers, and identify electrical problems using testing devices

Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national codes and regulations

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, making necessary repairs

Safety: Follow safety protocols to prevent electrical hazards and ensure a safe working environment

Communication: Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure electrical systems meet project specifications

Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance to keep electrical systems in working order

Adaptations: Installing new light fixtures, switches and general maintenance of electrical appliances.

What you'll need to succeed
For this role you will need;
- Full UK Driving License
- 18th Edition
- NVQ in Electrical
- Previous experience working on commercial projects
- Ability to complete all aspects of electrical work
- 2391 (preferred but not essential)
What you'll get in return
In return you will gain a Temp to Perm contract with a well established commercial maintenance electrical contractor. You will also be given a company van and fuel card. In addition to this you will be paid 1.5x before 8am and after 16:30pm. You will be paid from door to door and when required to work away your hotel will be paid for. When working away you will be paid 12 hour days at all times.
