Job Description

The successful candidate is responsible for coordinating FM & Technical Services on-site to meet SLA requirements and key performance indicators.

Role Summary
  1. Work with management to ensure training plans are in place and implemented.
  2. Supervise the technical Electrical team on-site.
  3. Act as the point of contact for technical service delivery.
  4. Attend meetings, such as Weekly E-minus meetings.
  5. Plan and manage workload on shift; schedule works based on priorities to ensure completion of PPMs, CMs, and reactive work orders within SLA; report concerns to the Hard Services Supervisor.
  6. Ensure high communication standards during shift handover via verbal handover, shift log book, email, and status board.
  7. Liaise with other FM Workplace Solutions service providers for integrated service delivery.
  8. Provide timely customer feedback via face-to-face, email, or calling card.
  9. Follow and implement Safe System of Work for team activities.
  10. Ensure compliance with client and GWS health and safety processes and procedures for all staff and subcontractors.
  11. Conduct toolbox talks, workplace assessments, and audits as required.
  12. Adhere to GWS business processes with proper financial approvals.
  13. Exercise appropriate budget control on all expenditures.
  14. Focus on delivering FM Operations according to KPI & Output measures.
  15. Support and monitor third-party maintenance activities, reporting any corrective actions needed.
  16. Comply with QHSE requirements as outlined within the SLA.
  17. Report all accidents, occupational illnesses, and emergencies.
  18. Ensure all contractors operate within H&S standards.
  19. Conduct monthly SLA self-assessment checks to support quarterly performance reviews.
  20. Maintain the site's image and visual standards, addressing any issues promptly.
  21. Provide flexible support across FM Operation areas including UUK, UCP, UNS, and ETC sites.
  22. Coordinate waste and recycling arrangements.
  23. Understand customer requirements and ensure concerns are addressed and communicated.
  24. Act as deputy in the absence of line management and provide cover as needed.
  25. Perform other activities as defined.
Experience Required
  • Time-served Electrical engineer with supervision experience.
  • Knowledge of the facilities management industry.
  • Experience working with supply partners for integrated service delivery.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and well-organized.
  • Strong administrative and prioritization skills.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Effective communication at all levels.
  • Service-oriented with innovative thinking.
