Electrical Supervisor - MEP Contractor

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installations on a range of projects across sectors including healthcare, commercial, and high-end residential developments.

You will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards, while coordinating site teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day electrical installation works on site
Manage and coordinate electricians and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures
Review drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
Carry out quality inspections and snagging
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other trades
Monitor progress against programme and report updates
Ensure all works meet current regulations (BS7671, NICEIC standards, etc.)
Support commissioning and handover processes

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor within construction/M&E
Strong knowledge of commercial/healthcare electrical installations
SSSTS or SMSTS (essential)
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
ECS/CSCS Gold Card (or equivalent)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Desirable

Experience on NHS / healthcare projects
Testing & inspection qualifications (2391 or equivalent)
Experience with commissioning and handover documentation
