Electrical Supervisor - Hinkley Point

Location: Hinkley Point

Role Brief: The Electrical Tunnel Supervisor will plan, manage, and supervise the execution of all the activities relating to tunnelling assembly, start up, maintenance, operation, and disassembly.

• Supervision of all tunnelling activities including but not limited to assembly, commissioning, start up, inspection, maintenance, and disassembly.
• Coordinate and supervise the electrical installation and site set up for the tunnelling works.
• Responsible for installation, operation and later disassembly TBM equipment.
• Supervision of electrical tunnel team.
• Assist and report to the M&E duty holder and project management.
• Programme and prepare all documents relating to maintenance.
• Responsible for all Micro tunnelling and Pipe jack equipment and in Tunnel electrical works. Ensures that all electrical works are carried out in accordance with the agreed method statements and in line with the specifications provided by the suppliers.
• Management of electrical tunnel labour.
• Troubleshooting and fault finding.
• Ensure that all electrical works are carried out in accordance with safety and environment regulations and project quality standards.
