Electrical Project Engineer - St Albans

Salary: £50,000 Per Annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and control electrical projects from design through to installation and commissioning
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Attend client and site meetings, providing technical and commercial updates
• Review drawings, specifications, and component suitability for each project
• Support design and production teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and complete

• Recognised Electrical Qualification (HNC / NVQ / equivalent)
• Experience in LV switchgear, control panels, or electrical distribution systems
• Strong understanding of electrical protection systems, relays, and power factor correction
• Ability to read, interpret, and contribute to electrical schematic diagrams (AutoCAD experience desirable)
• Excellent communication, client liaison, and organisational skills
• Hands-on approach with a focus on quality, accuracy, and delivery
