Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities team of a modern healthcare facility in Cork.
This is a permanent position offering long-term stability, varied day-to-day work, and the opportunity to maintain critical building services and electrical systems within a highly regulated environment.
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and building services.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems, generators, UPS, HVAC/air conditioning, and associated plant.
- Respond to breakdowns and participate in an on-call rota.
- Coordinate contractors and work closely with other maintenance trades.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS/BMS systems.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety and regulatory requirements.
- Qualified Electrician (time-served apprenticeship or equivalent).
- Experience in a facilities, building services, or maintenance environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, generators, UPS, and HVAC systems.
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) is desirable.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
