Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join an established team. This role in Dundee requires a professional with expertise in electrical systems to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of equipment.

Description

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment within the facility.
  • Ensure smooth operation of production machinery to minimise downtime during peak seasons.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maintain equipment reliability.
  • Support the team in maintaining operational efficiency during seasonal production periods.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working on-site.
  • Provide technical support for continuous improvement projects and upgrades.

Profile

A successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • A recognised qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively during both regular and peak operational periods.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £55,000 per annum.
  • Day shifts from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with an early finish at 2:00 pm on Fridays.
  • Seasonal shift patterns (July-September) with 56-hour weeks, including 16 hours at 1.33x pay.
  • Overtime compensation for hours exceeding 40 per week at 1.33x pay.
  • Two weeks of holiday during the Christmas period.
