Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Romford, Essex - Up to £44,000 Per Annum

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in Romford, Essex. We are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based at a commercial office development situated in Romford, Essex. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a proven track record in commercial and property building maintenance. The role will involve carrying out M&E and fabric planned and reactive maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting across a large, static, single-person site.

Working with the maintenance team on site, the role requires hands on experience in the following areas:

• Lighting - small installations, fault finding, lamping, changing ballasts, control panel, power distribution
• Emergency lighting
• Air conditioning - air handling units and fan coil units (filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers - re set
• Cooling towers
• Water treatment - temperature checks, non dosing
• Plumbing - unblocking toilets
• BMS system - monitoring (including hot & cold)
• UPS systems - monitoring, taking readings
• General building fabric

Positions Available

1 x Electrical Maintenance Engineer (£44,000 per annum)

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 08:00 am to 05:00 pm (40 hour week)

Requirements

• Electrically qualified - must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3
• 17th / 18th Edition
• A proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
• Excellent customer service skills
• Willing to cover a large site
• Ideally experience running a single person site
• Honest, hard working and reliable

• Up to £44,000 per annum
