Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Elevation have the pleasure of working exclusively with a bespoke manufacturing company based in the Rotherham area. This leading manufacturing company, are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their well established team!

Salary: £45,000

Location: Rotherham

Hours: Monday to Friday either 7am till 3pm - 2 hours early finish on a Friday

Duties of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Attending to PPM's and breakdowns on a daily basis
• Helping develop and implement current PPM system
• Ensure equipment is operating correctly to minimise machinery downtime
• Project work
• Ordering parts/ spares to ensure available as and when needed
• Electrical wiring, panel building, testing, inspection and fault finding
• Fault finding on PLC's - Siemans, Alan Bradley
• Ensuring daily, weekly ad annual servicing is complete
• Assist with machine installations as and when needed
• Working with other departments to a continuous improvement focus to ensure the business is the best it can be

Desired experience of Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds - Apprentice trained)
• It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
• Ideally have 3 years+ experience within in a Electrical maintenance position outside of apprenticeship
• Must have worked within a manufacturing maintenance background previously
• Must have PLC fault finding experience
• Must have the good work ethic, someone who can work independently and within a team environment
