Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Doncaster
Pay: £20 per hour + bonuses (OTE £52,000 - £53,000 per year)
Shift Pattern: Days/Nights Mon-Thurs

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety standards are always met, following company policies and procedures.
• Carry out fault-finding and diagnosis on PLC controlled machinery using schematic drawings.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Conduct fault analysis, resolution, and improvement to minimise downtime.
• Support installations of new electrical systems and equipment.
• Work independently and alongside other engineers to resolve both electrical and mechanical issues.

Skills & Qualifications

Time-served Electrical Apprenticeship (ONC or equivalent preferred)
Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within warehouse, FMCG, or automation environments
Strong fault-finding and diagnosis skills on electrical systems
Confident in working at heights and confined spaces

Desirable (Advantageous):

• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and automation control systems
• Knowledge of variable speed drives and setups
• 18th Edition qualification

Pay & Benefits

£20 per hour base rate plus bonuses
Realistic earnings: OTE £52,000 - £53,000 per year
