We're currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineerto join our Engineering team. In this role, you willevaluate assets, determine and execute routine preventative maintenance activities and procedures and assess and implement major fault repairs, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.

Your responsibilities in this role would be:

  • Taking accountability for inspection and maintenance of electrical systems and infrastructure
  • Responding to breakdowns of equipment, assessment, diagnosis, repair of faults or escalation
  • Co-ordinating of OXB's external engineering resource in relationship to specialist repairs and maintenance of assets
  • Evaluating asset performance against determined criteria
  • Completing quality documentation for critical failures
  • Identifying spares stock availability
  • Escalating events impacting engineering assets

We are Looking For:

Required:

  • Completed an electrical apprenticeship NVQ 3 Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent
  • BSth Edition training
  • Proven experience within an engineering/electrical maintenance function.
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
  • Completed C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent qualification
  • Experience within a GxP Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry is preferred
  • Good working knowledge of Health and Safety within an Engineering environment
