Electrical Maintenance Engineer

£62k per year + Company Pension, EAP Programme, Cycle to Work Scheme

Shifts: 12-hour shifts - 4 on, 4 off (2 days, 2 nights), 7 rotations followed by 18 days off

We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-performing engineering team. This role is critical to maintaining and improving site operations, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and efficiency.

The Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

In this role, you will:

Diagnose and resolve electrical and technical faults quickly and effectively

Respond to equipment breakdowns with minimal impact on production

Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on time and to a high standard

Provide technical input on capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Communicate effectively across departments and escalate issues appropriately

Contribute to risk assessments and ensure adherence to safe systems of work

Follow company procedures for purchasing and inventory management

Maintain a clean and organised work area

Support a culture of collaboration and technical development within the team

What We're Looking For in a Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We're looking for someone who brings:

Proven electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing or factory environment

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

A proactive, safety-conscious mindset and the ability to remain calm under pressure

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach

A desire to continually improve personal technical knowledge and support team growth

Comfort working in a high-pressure environment where rapid response is key to success
