We're working with an industry leader in waste recovery and energy production, operating one of the UK's most modern waste-to-energy facilities. Role Overview: Electrical Technician
Based at a state-of-the-art facility in the midlands this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Technician to support the ongoing performance, safety, and reliability of a high-output industrial site. You'll be responsible for the hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of a range of plant electrical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and fault-find on electrical plant systems, including HV/LV equipment, drives, and motors
- Support preventative and reactive maintenance across the site
- Respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and implement fixes efficiently
- Work closely with engineers and site teams to ensure electrical compliance
- Contribute to safe working practices
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an electrical maintenance role within power generation, heavy industry, or process plant environments
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualified in Electrical Engineering
- 18 th Edition
- Strong working knowledge of LV & HV systems
- Comfortable working in a highly regulated, safety-first environment
- Ability to prioritise, work independently, and contribute to a wider team
- Full right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship
