Role Overview: Electrical Technician

Based at a state-of-the-art facility in the midlands this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Technician to support the ongoing performance, safety, and reliability of a high-output industrial site. You'll be responsible for the hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of a range of plant electrical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and fault-find on electrical plant systems, including HV/LV equipment, drives, and motors
• Support preventative and reactive maintenance across the site
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and implement fixes efficiently
• Work closely with engineers and site teams to ensure electrical compliance
• Contribute to safe working practices

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an electrical maintenance role within power generation, heavy industry, or process plant environments
• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualified in Electrical Engineering
• 18 th Edition
• Strong working knowledge of LV & HV systems
• Comfortable working in a highly regulated, safety-first environment
• Ability to prioritise, work independently, and contribute to a wider team
• Full right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship
