Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer

Monday to Friday 2 week rotating shifts (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00)

Your role
Carry out maintenance on a wide range of production equipment, including injection moulding machines
Perform electrical fault-finding on PLC-controlled machinery (B&R X20 system used, but not essential)
Respond to breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime
Conduct planned maintenance and participate in ongoing improvement projects
Support the introduction of new equipment as part of the company's modernisation strategy
Work closely with a small, experienced engineering team on a static site
Operate on a 2-week rotating early/late shift pattern (no nights)

What you'll need
Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent)
Previous experience in a static, site-based maintenance role
Strong fault-finding skills on electrical systems, ideally including PLCs
Background in a manufacturing environment (injection moulding experience desirable)
Proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
Willingness to work rotating shift pattern
