Job Description

We are working with a well-established Further Education College in East London who are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer.

This is a fantastic long-term temporary opportunity to join a supportive department, delivering high-quality teaching across Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installation programmes. The successful candidate will combine strong industry knowledge with a passion for developing the next generation of electrical professionals through practical workshop delivery and classroom-based teaching. This role will also involve working as the College's Assessor for Electrical Installation subject.

The Role

• Deliver engaging practical and theoretical Electrical Installation lessons
• Teach across Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installation programmes
• Assess student work and maintain accurate records
• Promote safe working practices within workshops and classrooms

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation
• Relevant industry experience within the electrical sector
• Previous teaching, training or mentoring experience desirable
• Teaching qualification preferred or willingness to work towards one
• Assessor qualification
