Job Description

We are working with a well-established Further Education College in Norwich who are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer. This is a fantastic long-term temporary opportunity to join a supportive department, delivering high-quality teaching across Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installation programmes. The successful candidate will combine strong industry knowledge with a passion for developing the next generation of electrical professionals through practical workshop delivery and classroom-based teaching. This role would suit an experienced lecturer or an industry professional looking to transition into Further Education and share their knowledge with the next generation of electricians.

The Role

• Deliver engaging practical and theoretical Electrical Installation lessons
• Teach across Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installation programmes
• Assess student work and maintain accurate records
• Promote safe working practices within workshops and classrooms

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation
• Relevant industry experience within the electrical sector
• Previous teaching, training or mentoring experience desirable
• Teaching qualification preferred, or willingness to work towards one
