The Responsible Designer (RD) must prepare the integration of the design to meet the maturity expected for the commissioning milestones, IPCM (Intermediate Project Configuration Milestones), and must be organized according to the IPCM strategy and IPCM configuration boards. A new team is created at ED (level of Directorate) named IPCM integration team (2IT). This team will oversee:
- Contributing with NNB to the IPCM strategy, planning and content.
- Building the processes and tools to manage the transversal maturity of elementary systems.
- Reviewing with the sequence leaders that the budget and planning for the elementary systems is consistent with the IPCM sequence.
- Delivering the maturity of the elementary systems in accordance with the IPCM process and tools.
As a System Integrator I&C/Electrical, you will:
- Be responsible for the IPCM sequence from the preparation of the electrical and I&C systems design maturity review to the integration of potential design modifications before, during and after commissioning.
- Oversee the maturity review process: KoM, roadmap, preparation, coordination of disciplines (Systems/Equipment/MEH), and actions plan follow-up.
- Assess design maturity for gate reviews of the project.
- Perform risk assessment with the disciplines on remaining OP and implement all design changes required for commissioning (as per freeze).
- Ensure the consistency of documents and data necessary to produce commissioning documentation and site activities by commissioning engineering.
- Produce and complete the IPCM system delivery package.
- Ensure consistency between I&C SPPA & Electrical (Load list) and systems to be commissioned.
- Support the Commissioning Engineering Team and follow up impacts on the design.
- Interact with the disciplines, sequences and technical direction.
- Manage open points and activity schedules to achieve system maturity, liaising with the Control Tower and technical direction.
- Propose priorities and schedules to sequence leaders and report to the 2IT management for decisions.
- Understand technical issues and propose solutions to respect project planning, safety, and referential, and to achieve optimal design configuration for commissioning.
- Lead maturity review of systems, define a planning for their maturity, and monitor progress.
- Ensure the compliance of L4 planning with relevant sequence leads and IPCM sequence planning.
- Report to the 2IT management.
Profile
Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills- Minimum 5 years in nuclear plant design with experience on design and/or commissioning of electrical or I&C systems.
- Technical expertise in one of the two disciplines: I&C or electrical systems (knowledge of both is appreciated).
- Ability to lead and manage technical projects in a transversal organization.
- Proficiency in impact analysis and strategic planning.
- Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Mechanical Engineer with minimum 5 years' experience.
