Electrical Foreman

An established and growing electrical contracting company based in Cork is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Foreman to join their team on a permanent basis.
The company works across a range of commercial, industrial, healthcare, pharmaceutical and E&I projects, providing electrical installation and maintenance services to a strong portfolio of clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician who is looking to take the next step in their career or an existing Foreman looking for a long-term position with a growing contractor.
The RoleAs Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising electrical teams on site and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate electricians, apprentices and subcontractors on site.
- Plan and allocate daily workloads across the electrical team.
- Coordinate labour, materials, tools and equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Ensure electrical installations are completed in accordance with relevant standards and specifications.
- Monitor project progress, productivity and quality.
- Liaise with Project Managers, Site Managers, clients and other contractors.
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety procedures, RAMS and site requirements.
- Identify potential issues, delays or additional resource requirements and communicate these to management.
- Assist with testing, commissioning, snagging and project handover.
- Provide technical guidance and support to electricians and apprentices.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site organisation.
- Fully Qualified Electrician with a recognised electrical qualification.
- Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman, Electrical Supervisor, Chargehand or Senior Electrician.
- Strong commercial or industrial electrical experience.
- Experience supervising and coordinating electrical teams.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation standards and site procedures.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong focus on health & safety and quality.
- Full clean driving licence is desirable.
