Venn Group is working with a leading University in London to recruit an Engineering Team Lead to provide an excellent maintenance service to their students, staff and visitors.

Salary: Salary: £45,101, Team Leader Allowance: £2,421.05 p.a.

Location:London

Thesuccessfulcandidatewill:

• Lead and coordinate engineering and shift teams to deliver electrical maintenance across all campuses.
• Maintain and operate electrical systems including isolations, distribution, lighting, and fire detection.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and QMUL procedures during subcontractor works.
• Support documentation updates (SOPs, EOPs, asset registers) and contribute to strategic planning.
• Respond to incidents, lead investigations, and promote resilience through scenario training and technical assessments.

Thesuccessfulcandidatewillhave:

• City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations/Maintenance or a fully completed Electrical Apprenticeship (minimum Level 3 or equivalent).
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing Qualification or equivalent.
• BSth Edition Certification.
• Hot and Cold Water System (L8) Certification.
• Proven record of management and development experience and/or enhanced management qualification in a customer-focused or complex organisation.
• Demonstrated continuing professional development to maintain professional recognition.
