The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a large-scale, high-profile project in the Bristol area as part of a growing team of Electrical Engineers. The role offers the chance to work on complex installations within a highly regulated environment, where your technical expertise and practical experience will directly influence project delivery. You'll be collaborating with a range of stakeholders, helping to shape the successful completion of one of the UK's most significant engineering programmes.

Your duties and responsibilities will be We are seeking experienced Electrical Engineers with strong onsite installation backgrounds. Ideal candidates will:
  • Have practical onsite installation experience.
  • Understand construction sequencing of mechanical and/or electrical installation.
  • Be confident in reading and interpreting construction drawings / BIM models.
  • Have the ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders.
  • Ideally, have progressed from hands-on trade roles into supervisor or site management positions, bringing deep practical knowledge to projects.
You will have the following qualifications & experience
  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in onsite electrical systems installation.
  • Track record of progression from hands-on trade roles into supervisory or management positions (advantageous).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings / BIM models.
  • Strong knowledge of the construction / installation industry.
  • Understanding of construction sequencing of electrical and mechanical installations.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation including CDM and Nuclear Site Licence requirements.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, particularly in site environments.
  • Proactive, independent working style with strong reporting and escalation skills.
