Employment: Permanent

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus yearly bonus

Transport: Own transportation required

Hours: Office based, Monday to Friday

We're looking for a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join a market leading manufacturer of food processing & packaging machinery based in the St. Neots - Huntingdon - Cambridge area.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing electrical schematics, wiring layouts & control panels (AutoCAD/EPLAN)
• Working alongside mechanical & software teams on PLC/HMI integration
• Ensuring compliance with IEC 60204, ISO 13849, BS7671
• Supporting testing, troubleshooting and production builds
• Working with LV (110-600V) and ELV (24V) systems

What you'll bring:

• HNC/HND (or above) in Electrical Engineering
• Electrical design experience within machinery / automation
• AutoCAD or EPLAN proficiency
• Solid understanding of PLCs, HMIs & motor control

Desirable:

• Experience with Mitsubishi, Siemens or Allen Bradley PLCs
• Knowledge of industrial communications: Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, RS232/485
