Electrical Design Engineer
Location:Stroud
Salary:£30,000 - £40,000 (Depending on experience)
Hours:Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00

What You'll Be Doing:

• Producing accurate technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Designing electrical and pneumatic systems for specialist vehicles and equipment
• Supporting the development of both new products and enhancements to existing designs
• Liaising across departments, including production, sales, and purchasing
• Participating in testing and quality assurance of systems
• Leading and supporting a small team of electricians
• Working with or learning PLC programming (training provided)

About You:

• Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering
• Experience in electrical or mechanical design (graduate and junior engineers also considered)
• Proficient with 3D AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Knowledge of PLCs or electronics is desirable, though not essential
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to take initiative and solve problems
