Up to £59,280 per annum, dependant on experience + Bonus + Early Finish on Friday + Pension + Extra Benefits

Excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in electrical control systems design to join a market-leading, international company.

The company is a well-established, highly revered manufacturing firm in the Plymouth area with global sites. They are renowned for the quality of their products and for being a progressive employer. Due to growth, they are recruiting a Control Systems Engineer to join their design team.

In this role, you will work closely with the maintenance team, responsible for designing and drawing electrical circuits and control panels, safety circuits, motion control, PLC & HMI programming, and system integration into manufacturing robots and standalone machines.

• Design control panels, identify obsolete components and source alternatives, implement upgrades, continuous improvement, analyze faults, and create effective PPM and TPM activities.
• Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, with a 3:30pm finish on Fridays.

• Monthly & yearly bonus, 33 days holiday including bank holidays (option to purchase additional days), life insurance (3x salary), 5% pension, retail discounts.

• Electrical Engineering qualifications.
• PLC & HMI programming knowledge.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Eplan design software.
