Electrical Controls Engineer

Electrical Controls Engineer (Oxford, MI or other unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.)

• Reviewing electrical specifications for incoming custom orders.
• Creating electrical schematics in AutoCAD electrical for our cooling equipment in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensuring that errors in manufacturing are minimized.
• Creating, editing, and troubleshooting PLC programs for company equipment.
• Debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing PLC programs.
• Troubleshooting our programming so that the startup at our customer's site is simple and without errors.
• Assisting in the testing department as needed.
• Troubleshooting technical electrical issues on the phone with existing customers.
• Quoting aftermarket parts for existing customers.
• Assisting in start-up or troubleshooting electrical technical issues in the field.
• Assisting in research and development projects of new products and improvement of current products.

M.S. Electrical Engineering. Minimum 12 months experience in any related Electrical Controls or Automation Engineering positions related to industrial cooling systems.Minimum 12 months experience in: Cooling System Design; Industrial PLC & Robot programming; Electrical Specifications; Electrical Schematics; Cooling Process; Lean Manufacturing.

10% Domestic and International Travel. 40 hrs/wk. 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
