Electrical Automation Engineer - Namur Region - Permanent Role

I'm currently partnered with an automation integrator focused on the implementation of unique automation & electrical projects from A-Z. They work exclusively in oil & gas as well as renewable energy industries. They are searching for an engineer with knowledge in automation & electrical engineering to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Quantify the electrical, instrumentation and automation part of the projects.
• Conduct electrical studies.
• Perform functional analyses.
• Carry out general and detailed electrical design.
• Carry out general automation, primarily working with Siemens PLCs.
• Produce electrical calculation notes.
• Make price requests from suppliers.
• Commissioning of electrical cabinets.
• Participate in the R&D of projects.
• Travel to client sites in Africa for a week once a quarter.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Solid technical knowledge in automation is required.
• Knowledge of electrical design and calculation is a plus.
• Motivation to learn and grow within the role.
• French & English fluency is required.
• Must have the right to work in Belgium.
