EHS Manager - Food Manufacturing

£55,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Medical + Company Pension + Vehicle Allowance

Are you a proven Health & Safety Manager from a Manufacturing background who's looking to make a real impact on a massive industrial site owned by an international Food Manufacturing giant?

This business has thousands of employees across the globe working at sites producing household-name brands, covering everything from bottled water and pet food to snacks and supplements.

They are looking for a motivated and people-focused EHS Leader to take responsibility for compliance, coaching and cultural change regarding H&S matters for over 500 people at one of their main UK factories.

The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent qualification) and have proven EHS management experience within manufacturing environments such as FMCG or processing plants. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for driving cultural change & continuous improvement in H&S are essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Health & Safety leader to take a significant step forward in their career with one of the largest FMCG businesses in the world.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Leading the site's EHS strategy, advising managers and driving a strong safety-first culture
  • Defining and developing site-wide EHS priorities by identifying risks and improvement opportunities
  • Delivering EHS systems and training that empower leaders to own safety and environmental performance
  • Raising standards through audits, regulatory collaboration and effective external partnerships

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level H&S qualification
  • Demonstrable EHS Management experience - ideally in FMCG or Food Manufacturing - and confident leading audits & engaging regulators
  • Strong grasp of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, with proven ability to drive compliance and continuous improvement
  • Strong leadership skills, able to influence behaviours, solve complex problems and champion a proactive safety culture
