EHS Lead (Construction)

A well-established and growing main contractor is seeking an experienced EHS Lead to play a key role in driving health, safety, environmental, and wellbeing standards across the business. This role is based working on projects across Dublin.

Role & Duties:

• Lead and promote a strong EHS culture across all sites.
• Drive continuous improvement of EHS systems and maintain ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards.
• Oversee PSDP/PSCS requirements, contractor compliance, and pre qualification processes.
• Carry out site visits, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Manage risk assessments, company risk register, and action tracking processes.
• Prepare monthly EHS performance reports and analyse project KPIs.
• Deliver safety training and provide technical guidance to site teams.
• Collaborate with HR and ESG teams to support wellbeing and safety initiatives.
• Mentor and support EHS Officers across the business.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (NFQ Level 7+).
• 5-8 years' experience in a senior EHS role within the construction industry.
• Experience managing ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001 systems.
• PSDP/PSCS qualification (desirable).
• Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem solving ability.
• Confident delivering training and reporting on EHS performance.
• Full clean driving licence.

Salary & Package:
