EHS Engineer - Shannon, Co. Clare (Permanent)

eFlexes is hiring an experienced EHS Engineer for a leading multinational client in Shannon. This is a permanent role offering a strong package and excellent career growth.

The Role

You'll lead Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives across the site, ensuring compliance and driving a strong safety culture. Key responsibilities include:

• Embedding EHS standards into projects, upgrades, and processes
• Managing ISO 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 50001 systems
• Leading audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance
• Overseeing risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions
• Managing waste, emissions, and sustainability programs
• Promoting continuous improvement and a safety-first mindset

What You Bring

• Degree in Science/Engineering with EHS specialisation
• 3-5 years' experience in a multinational (manufacturing/repair preferred)
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 systems
• Audit experience (aerospace an advantage)
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organised
• Excellent communication skills and team-focused approach
