EHS Advisor

We are working with our client in Athenry, Co. Galway to recruit an EHS Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis.

• Maintain and continuously improve the site EHS Management System in line with legal, corporate, and internal compliance standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, process reviews, and hazard identification to implement effective control measures.
• Perform site inspections, safety audits, and compliance monitoring, reporting findings and corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation to prevent recurrence.
• Support EHS projects from planning through implementation and completion.
• Deliver EHS guidance across operations, including risk prevention, hazardous materials, waste management, and safety controls.
• Monitor, analyse, and report EHS KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Develop, review, and maintain EHS procedures, documentation, and ISO 14001 compliance activities.
• Deliver health & safety training, inductions, toolbox talks, and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments, contractor safety reviews (RAMS), and support workplace safety initiatives and regulatory compliance.
