EHS Advisor

Matrix Recruitment is recruiting for an EHS Advisor on behalf of our client in Carlow.

Your New Job

As EHS Advisor, you'll work closely with the EHS Manager and production teams to promote a positive safety culture across manufacturing sites. This permanent role offers the opportunity to play a key part in delivering safety initiatives every day.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and encourage a proactive EHS culture on site
• Develop and implement robust safety plans
• Work with contractors to ensure safe systems of work
• Attend meetings to discuss EHS improvements and challenges
• Maintain and update EHS documentation and reports
• Prepare clear accident and incident reports, flagging issues and solutions
• Take part in site audits and follow up actions
• Support operational teams to keep safety at the heart of daily practices
• Monitor EHS objectives and compliance measures

What Are We Looking For?

• Level 7 or higher qualification in Health and Safety
• 2 years' + experience in an EHS role
• Experience in manufacturing with visibility on the ground
• Working knowledge of Irish industry standards and regulations.
• Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail
• Good with Microsoft Office and open to new tech
• Genuine enthusiasm for making positive change
