EHO Food Officer

Our local authority client in the North West is seeking to appoint an experienced Food Safety Practitioner to support their regulatory services team.

Responsibilities

• Complete approximately 80 C-E rated food hygiene inspections on a per-inspection basis.
• Ensure all work is completed before the end of March 2026.

Qualifications

• Must be EHORB accredited or hold the Higher Certificate in Food.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 20 hours of CPD within the last two years.
• Have a completed Food Standards Agency Competency Matrix available at the point of application.
• Proven experience carrying out food hygiene inspections in line with FSA standards is essential.

Additional Information

This position is offered on a per-unit basis, paying £68 per inspection. Flexible working arrangements are available and the opportunity to work with a well-established local authority team. IR35 status is to be confirmed.
