Location: Enfield
Contract: January-March (ASAP start) with potential extension into the summer term
Working Pattern: Full-time (Mon-Fri): 35h
Travel: Ability to travel within the borough; driving desirable

This is a *England* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Consulting company working on *supporting statutory Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs)*.
About the Role
Our client is seeking experienced, HCPC-registered Educational Psychologists to support statutory Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs). This work requires strong Local Authority experience, excellent assessment practice, and the ability to deliver high-quality written advices within statutory deadlines.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct face-to-face consultations, observations, and psychological assessments in Enfield schools, early years settings, and family homes.

Deliver comprehensive, legally compliant psychological advices for statutory processes.

Work in full alignment with the service's Quality Assurance procedures.

Maintain timely, accurate and GDPR-compliant documentation using the Council-issued laptop and EPS systems.

Utilise approved testing tools, psychometric resources, and service equipment.

Collaborate effectively with education staff, parents/carers, and multi-agency partners.

Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and maintain high professional standards.
Essential Criteria
-
HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist.
-
Minimum three years' post-qualification experience.

Proven experience within a Local Authority Educational Psychology Service, including statutory work.

Confident conducting assessments in varied settings (schools, early years, homes).

Capable of delivering 100% on statutory deadlines.

Fully able to participate in the service's Quality Assurance processes.

Availability from January, with commitment through end of March (potential summer extension).

Able to work Full time or minimum 2 days per week.

Able to travel throughout the borough; access to a vehicle beneficial.

Willing to complete any organisation-level registration steps, including professional checks, assessment verification and compliance screening.

No conflicts of interest with the service or its management.

Enhanced DBS with children and adults' barred lists.

Full, directly verifiable reference history from the last five years.
