An opportunity has arisen for an Academic Assistant to provide holiday cover over the below dates:

Friday October 23rd

Monday October 26th

Monday November 2nd

Tuesday November 3rd

Wednesday November 4th

Friday November 6th

Hours of work: 10am - 4.30pm

Location: Belfast

With an hourly rate of £18 per hour.

Job Purpose:
You will be working with an undergraduate student with a physical disability, supporting and aiding with their work. This position is ideal for a person wishing to obtain a graduate job where they can remain in a familiar, academic environment, engaging with interesting subject areas.

Essential Criteria:
IT Proficient with the use of IT packages such as Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Good organisational and numeracy skills.
Ability to remain professional and adhere to confidentiality.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting the student in all areas of studies.
Taking notes at lectures/tutorials.
Transcribing study notes.
Aiding with research.
Writing up assignments.
